Matt Chapman, flying his CAP 231EX, was one of the top U.S. contenders at last
summer's World Aerobatic Championship. From nearby Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, Matt's
interest in aerobatics began with flying radio-controlled model aircraft in 1972. He
soloed in a sailplane at age 16 and went on to a successful career flying airliners as
well as aerobatic craft. Matt enjoys meeting and talking with airshow fans and his
performance in the CAP 231, the only one of its kind in the U.S., is one of the most
fast-paced and exciting flying exhibitions to be seen anywhere. |
