Jack L. King Jack L. King is an aviation writer with over 20,000 hours as a transport pilot. He co-founded Professional Pilot Magazine and wrote the Pilot Familiarization Manuals for the Martin 202 and 404 airline transports while employed as engineering test pilot for the Glenn L. Martin Company. His works include "Corporate Flying," used by several aeronautical universities, "Wings of Man," the biography of Captain Dick Merrill, and Dick Henson's biography, "High Flight." He is a frequent contributor to AOPA pilot and has contributed to many other aviation books and publications.

King is a member of the Aviation Space Writers Association, OX-5 Aviation Pioneers, Quiet Birdmen, Flying Shriners, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and National Business Aircraft Association.
